Spangler Subaru Supports the Miracle League at Roxbury Park
Every year from mid-November through the end of December, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) promotes the Subaru Share the Love Event, a sales event with a layer of philanthropy. Individuals shopping for and purchasing a new Subaru will have the option to choose a charity in which SOA, Inc. will donate $250 to that specific charity. When the event first began, purchasers were able to choose among four national charities, including the ASPCA, Make-a-Wish, Meals on Wheels, or the National Park Foundation.
As the success of the event grew, SOA, Inc. wanted to recognize not just those major charities, but also the hard work of the small non-profits that pop up all over the country. They expanded the event with the help of their retailers, allowing each Subaru retailer to choose a local non-profit to partner with each year. Now, customers have the option of sending a donation, payable by Subaru, to one of those four national charities, or a local, community non-profit chosen by the Subaru retailer.
In 2025, the Miracle League at Roxbury Park has the privilege of being selected by Spangler Subaru as the local charity during the year’s Subaru Share the Love Event. This means that anyone purchasing a new Subaru from Spangler Subaru will have the opportunity to select us, ensuring we receive a $250 donation from SOA, Inc.
“It was really an obvious choice for us,” says executive manager and third generation owner, Garrett Spangler. The retailer has partnered with several community organizations over the years, including Stackhouse Park, the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center, the Greater Alleghenies Light The Night, and, most recently, Conemaugh Valley Conservancy. “When you see the community become so enthusiastic, we know it’s something we want to support.”
On top of the donation from SOA, Inc., Spangler Subaru will donate $75 to us for every new Subaru sale (regardless of the customer’s choice), and $5 for every qualified repair order through their service department.
